Marketing Trainee Position:
EBAN is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to work on the following:
- Social media management: The Marketing Trainee will assist in social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Event preparation: The Marketing Trainee will work closely with EBAN’s team to plan and execute events. He/She will assist in coordinating logistics, promotional activities, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Mailing campaigns: The Marketing Trainee will assist in preparing mailing campaigns, monitor campaign performance, and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
- Copywriting and Content Production: The Marketing Trainee will assist in conducting interviews with members of the EBAN network. He/She will write articles that showcase the network members’ success stories, expertise, and perspectives. He/she will contribute to articles about European Union projects, highlighting EBAN’s involvement and impact in fostering entrepreneurship.
- Graphic design: The Trainee will be involved in graphic design tasks, creating visually appealing and engaging marketing materials. He/She will utilize design software and tools like Canvas to develop graphics, infographics, and other visual assets that align with EBAN’s brand identity.
The trainee will have a number of opportunities to play an active operational role within EBAN’s Marketing Department. The trainee works under the supervision of and reports to the Marketing Manager with the assistance of other EBAN staff, members or experts.
Trainee profile:
▪Bachelor student or Master level in the fields of Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, International Management, Business Administration or Finance.
▪Available for 3 to 6 months full-time, interested in the following sectors:
- Entrepreneurship
- European affairs
- Statistics, research and data
- Startup and SME’s ecosystem
▪ Familiar with social media and the Google Suite (essential) and software such as Canva and Mailup (desired)
▪ Excellent verbal and written command of English, knowledge of another European language an asset
▪ Strong organizational skills, capable of taking initiative and working independently
▪ Analytical and creative thinking

Practical elements:
The traineeship will preferably start in August 2023.
Students in possession of the Erasmus+ grant are preferred. The traineeship is a hybrid role based in Brussels; however, remote arrangements can be considered.
