Claire Munck is managing director of EBAN. She leads the association's business development, partnership and growth strategy, advocacy work and product development. Claire coordinates EBAN’s involvement in European funded projects, and is a frequent speaker at conferences relating to risk capital to promote the role of business angels in economic development across the world. Since March 2009, Claire has joined the Board of Be Angels, the business angel network for the Walloon Region in Belgium. She participates as expert on the European Commission’s Advisory Board to improve SME participation in Framework Programme 7 projects (2008-). From 2003 to 2006, Claire was project manager for EURADA, European Association of Regional Development Agencies. She worked on RIS and RIS-NAC, Interreg, Leonardo, Paxis, and FP6 rojects. Her educational background includes a Post-Graduate degree in International Politics (Free University of Brussels - Great Distinction), an MA in Political Communication EFAP – Belgium – Great Distinction) and a BA in Political Science (McGill University – Canada - Distinction).

Alberica Marzotto is project manager for EBAN. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Secretariat, and assists in the implementation of European projects (Leonardo, Pro-Inno). She is the key contact point for EBAN members, and is involved in EBAN’s research projects. Previous to that, she gained experience in the field of EU public affairs and project management and implementation working for European Commission DG EuropeAid Cooperation Office, dealing with the “Geographical coordination and supervision for the Mediterranean and Middle-East”, and for Innovation & Development consulting, a European consulting agency in Belgium. She travelled and worked across the globe including internships at the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Toronto in Canada and at the Italian Trade Commission in Mumbai, India. She studied International Relations and European law in Milan, Italy.

Silvia Santos Alonso is the administrative assistant of EBAN. She holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (Spain) including an Erasmus Scholarship at the Center for Mass Communication Research, Leicester University (UK). After doing several internships in various newspapers in Spain and Germany she joined the International Journal of Public Opinion Research as editorial assistant in Dresden (Germany). Before joining EBAN Silvia worked for over five years as office manager and marketing projects leader for Bridgestone Europe in Brussels and Bridgestone Hispania in Madrid.

Erica Norchi is the new marketing and sponsorship assistant at EBAN. Erica is in charge of coordinating the work of the different committees (sponsorship, marketing, research and membership) and deals with all the marketing related issues. Erica graduated in 2008 in Economics for Arts, Culture and Communication in Bocconi University, Milan and is now attending a two years Master of Science in Marketing Management in the same institute.
