Chiara de Caro is the General Manager of EBAN. With a background in youth entrepreneurship, Chiara brings varied experience to her new role. Most recently she worked as Director for YES, The European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, a Brussels-based pan European organization bringing together 16 national federations and representing 40.000 individual entrepreneurs. Prior to this she worked on Events and Communication at EBN, European Business and Innovation Centers Network in Brussels. Holding a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees in Political Science from the University of Perugia (Italy), Chiara furthered her studies in International Politics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).
Luis Galveias is the Project Manager for EBAN. Working mostly on the ACCESS ICT initiative, he also supports EBAN's research projects and events. Luis has been working in the early stage financing industry since 2004 when he joined Gesventure (Business Angels Club) in Portugal. He has been involved with a wide range of national and international initiatives such as the National Business Angels Week (FNABA), the EBAN Congress 2007, the Business Angels Leaders Forum (kick-start for WBAA) and the EASY Project. Currently living in Luxembourg, his academic background is in Economics (U. Coimbra, Portugal) and holds a Master in Marketing from ISEG (Lisbon, Portugal).
Alicia Gómez Campos is the EBAN Office and Membership Manager. She is responsible for the succesful Membership applications and running of the office together with supporting Events' organisation and the Manager Director and Project Manager duties. Prior to joining the team, she was a Campaign and Events Assistant for different NGOs in Brussels and London and a reporter in Spain. Alicia holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Malaga Universitry and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Sussex University, United Kingdom.
Silviya
Mladenova is a Research Assistant at EBAN. Prior to joining the EBAN’s team, she
was a research trainee at the Bulgarian National Bank as well as at the
Bulgarian Ministry of Finance where she was involved in fiscal policy and sector-wise FDI’s analysis. She was also a M&A intern at Entrea Capital,
Bulgaria and a coordinator for the Play Energy marketing project. She is mainly
interested in macroeconomic, industry analysis, and finance. Silviya holds her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance
from Bocconi University, Italy where she is currently pursuing a MSc in
Economics and Social Sciences. She was also an exchange student at JIBS,
Sweden.
