The company is now raising up to EUR 4mn capital (of which EUR 2mn already committed by existing shareholders) to fund its German growth plans, laying the groundwork for future European wide expansion. About Buurtzorg Buurtzorg (i.e. “neighborhood care”) is a German startup with Dutch roots which transforms the outpatient care market with a nurse-led model. Buurtzorg provides holistic elderly care by means of small, self-managed teams of ambulant nurses, thus enabling optimum efficiency, increasing patient satisfaction as well as employee satisfaction, translated into lower turnover and sickness rates. Today, the model creates better working conditions for more than 15,000 employees and is implemented in 24 countries, including Germany. The German startup is now raising EUR 3mn, of which 1mn is committed by existing shareholders.

Big Angels Day in partnership with Euroquity – BPI

EUROPEAN AND AFRICAN BUSINESS ANGELS NOW HAVE A DEDICATED YEARLY FLAGSHIP EVENT! This event puts a spotlight on the role of BAs in supporting early-stage entrepreneurial ecosystems. It will take place on October 7th, 2021, as part of Bpifrance Inno Génération, the largest entrepreneurial event in Europe, which brings together more than 40,000 entrepreneurs every year. PROMOTING EARLY STAGE INVESTMENT IN EUROPE AND AFRICA CONTEXTEuroQuity, Bpifrance’s online matchmaking platform, and France Angels, the federation of  French business angels, have been organizing business meetings between business angels and  entrepreneurs for the past four years. On average, 70 business angels are invited to engage in a  total of 400 to 600 one-on-one meetings. This year, the event is scaling up to bring together the business angels who matter in Europe and Africa. To support this BIG Angels Day, several key  actors have joined France Angels & EuroQuity: Invest’I (Tunisia), Sowalfin (Belgium), EBAN and  BAE (European countries and some African countries).
