He holds a Master of Computer Science from the University of Leuven and specialized in cybersecurity. Passionate about technology he’s also a former founder/organizer of TEDxAntwerp. Anna C Mallon, Senior Startup & Ecosystem Business Development (BENELUX) Anna has 20 years of experience transforming global startup innovation, education and marketing businesses across Europe and Southeast Asia. She is a former investor and accelerator lead, multiple founder, pitch coach and startup mentor who was based out of Singapore for 15 years. Experienced in B2B, sales, corporate innovation and Angel scouting, Anna delivered dozens of corporate and VC backed innovation and startup programs for companies including Daimler, Facebook, Bosch, Shell, Schneider Electric, MUFG Bank, Hewlett Packard, MunichRE, SCOR, Denstu Aegis, Investible, Seedstars, CSIRO, Credit Suisse, A*Star and more.     The conference will present the main project results to the wider public. The visibility of the 60 start-ups which participated in the Space Academies will be maximized thanks to a dedicated poster exhibition and hearing success stories, best practices and the lessons learned. The event will provide policy recommendations and will reflect on the follow-up of the initiative, its integration into the broader European ecosystem of support for start-ups and the long-term sustainability. There will be plenty of opportunities for further networking between the start-ups, the project partners, investors, policy makers and EU and ESA officials. EUROPEAN AND AFRICAN BUSINESS ANGELS NOW HAVE A DEDICATED YEARLY FLAGSHIP EVENT! This event puts a spotlight on the role of BAs in supporting early-stage entrepreneurial ecosystems. It will take place on October 7th, 2021, as part of Bpifrance Inno Génération, the largest entrepreneurial event in Europe, which brings together more than 40,000 entrepreneurs every year. PROMOTING EARLY STAGE INVESTMENT IN EUROPE AND AFRICA CONTEXTEuroQuity, Bpifrance’s online matchmaking platform, and France Angels, the federation of  French business angels, have been organizing business meetings between business angels and  entrepreneurs for the past four years. On average, 70 business angels are invited to engage in a  total of 400 to 600 one-on-one meetings. This year, the event is scaling up to bring together the business angels who matter in Europe and Africa.
