EBAN – the European Business Angels Network – is proud to announce a new partnership with Allied for Startups (AFS), the global network championing startup-friendly policy, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration brings together Europe’s leading community of early-stage investors and one of the most influential voices advocating for founders worldwide. 

AFS works to ensure that policies across the EU and globally reflect the needs of founders, investors, and innovators. With a network of 54 national and regional startup associations across 35+ countries and four continents, and more than a decade of experience (founded in 2013), AFS has become a key bridge between policymakers and the startup community.

As Europe navigates an increasingly complex digital and regulatory environment, the need for clear, founder-centric policy has never been more important. Through this MoU, AFS and EBAN commit to working more closely together on policy, ecosystem development, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building. Both organisations will collaborate to boost awareness of angel investing, advocate for policies that strengthen Europe’s startup and investment landscape, and expand opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs to connect.
