Call for Events Manager or Events Intern

About the Role

EBAN is looking for an Events Manager or Events Intern (depending on experience) to help deliver high-impact in-person, hybrid and online events for an international community of investors and start-ups. You’ll work closely with members, partners and sponsors, contributing directly to the growth and visibility of our European network.

Location

Brussels office, with one remote day per week.


What You’ll Do

-Lead or support the planning and delivery of events from start to finish.

-Coordinate venues, suppliers, logistics, AV, catering and event staff.

-Liaise with speakers, sponsors and partners.

-Manage confidential attendee data.

-Track event budgets and timelines.

-Support event-related communication and engagement activities.


Requirements

Events Manager

-2+ years’ experience delivering in-person, hybrid and virtual events.

-Understanding of the European start-up and investment ecosystem.

-Confident managing multiple projects at once.

-Experience with CRMs, email marketing tools and event networking platforms (e.g., Brella).

-Strong administrative, budgeting and organisational skills.

-Comfortable adapting to new event technologies and formats.

Events Intern

-Some experience supporting events (in-person, hybrid or virtual).

-Interest in the start-up and investment ecosystem.

-Enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

-Experience with websites or Canva is a plus.

-Ability to work both independently and in a team.

-Creative, curious and eager to learn.

-Fluent in English plus one other European language.

-Interest in start-ups and venture capital.
