INVESTORINNEN CONFERENCE “The Future of Investments”

The Investorinnen Conference, which focused on “The Future of Investments” took place at Deloitte Austria iwth over 130 participants. Barbara Edelmann (Deloitte Austria), one of the moderators of the event, commented: “Women invest, but they invest in a different way. We know that from our consulting practice. It is very important to make these differences visible and to connect women accordingly. That’s exactly what we’re doing with the Investorinnen Conference”.

Women make up only 2% of startup founders and represent a small minority of business angels, seed investors and venture capitalists. The Investorinnen initiative aims to create positive change in terms of women’s involvement in the industry both as investors and as entrepreneurs. Therefore, the Investorinnen Conference focused on such relevant topics as know-how transfer, awareness raising and networking.
