Director of Secretariat
Luis collaborates with EBAN since 2010 and he is from 2013 the leading person at the EBAN Secretariat. Initially working as Project Manager and Communication Officer, Luis was responsible for the implementation of the ICT Finance MarketPlace/ ACCESS ICT initiative and the organization of EBAN events. He has been working in the early stage financing industry since 2004 when he joined Gesventure (Business Angels Club) in Portugal. Luis has been involved with a wide range of national and international initiatives such as the National Business Angels Week (FNABA), the EBAN Congress 2007, the Business Angels Leaders Forum (kick-start for WBAA) and the EASY Project. Currently living in Luxembourg, his academic background is in Economics (U. Coimbra, Portugal) and holds a Master in Marketing from ISEG (Lisbon, Portugal).
Office and Membership Manager
Pablo is responsible for the success of membership applications and running of the office together with supporting events’ organisation and all communication materials. Pablo also supports the Director of the Secretariat in any task needed together with attending requests from EBAN Board Members. He is the first contact point of the Association. Prior to joining the organisation, he developed a successful finance career for international companies in Ireland, Spain and United Kingdom. With a solid background in banking and administration and a determined entrepreneurial character, Pablo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing Management by New Buckinghamshire University, United Kingdom, and a Master in Sport’s Management by the University of Southern Denmark.
Siri holds a Master of Laws from Lund University, Sweden, and is currently pursuing an Advanced Master in Intellectual Property Rights and ICT at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and HUBrussels, Belgium. Her master thesis has been published in a law journal focused on intellectual property rights (NIR). She has work experience both from the public law sector and from organisations working with business development.
Medina Braha has started her work at EBAN as Research Analyst in in the process of updating the Co-investment Funds Compendium and the Tax Outlook Compendium. These two publications, co-edited with BDO, remain an utmost tool to EBAN and its members and are highly regarded by policy makers across Europe. Medina holds a Master of Science degree in Economics for Business Analysis, obtained at Staffordshire University in United Kingdom. She also holds a bachelor degree in Management and Informatics, obtained at University of Prishtina, Kosovo.
She also works as Teaching Assistant at University of Prishtina, Kosovo’s first and largest university among all public and private higher education institutions. At the same time she also holds the position of Ambassador (Executive Representative) of Baybars Altuntas for the Republic of Kosovo. In that position, she established the first Baybars Altuntas Junior Society in the world.
Noelia holds a Bachelor in Economics and a postgraduate programme in Management of Innovation from University of Balearic Islands, Spain. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate programme in Communication and Languages in Erasmushogeschool Brussel. Before joining EBAN, Noelia worked as a Market Analyst in GVC GAESCO and as a Marketing and Loyalty Assistant in Barceló Hotels and Resorts.
Maria holds a Master degree in International Relations from Salerno University, Italy, where she also attended a Post Graduate Course in European Union Law. She elaborated a Master thesis in the topic of Media Coverage of the outsourcing process. Her main field of interest is communication and marketing. Before joining EBAN, she took a traineeship in the Press and Communication Service of the Italian Embassy in Paris and worked as a fundraiser for the United Nations.
