EBAN membership categories

Full members contain two categories:

1. Business angel networks, federations of networks set up to promote the angel market, business angel groups, angel funds or angel syndicates;
2. Early stage venture capital and seed funds

Business Angel Networks (BANs) are national or regional, local, commercial or industry sector organisations set up to promote means of introduction between small and medium sized enterprises and private investors with entrepreneurial experience (business angels).

Business angel funds are understood as structures that contain no institutional or public money.

Early stage venture capital and seed funds are those who invest in the equity gap (500.000€ to 3 million€), i.e. making a maximum of 3 million€ investment per company in young innovative SMEs across Europe.

Affiliate members are business angels/private individuals who have invested or intend to invest in small and medium sized businesses. They provide finance and expertise or business skills to the enterprise.

Associate members are organisations which do not meet the afore mentioned criteria for full membership, but who have evident interest in the business angel industry.

Gold membership

You can also upgrade your membership status to Gold. For an additional fee of 1.000€/year Gold membership provides you with an outstanding visibility opportunity with the logo of your organisation posted on the homepage of our website in a rolling format, with a direct link to your website. Gold members see the following benefits from having their logos featured on the EBAN homepage: a minimum of 1.000 additional clicks to your website in 6 months via the rolling logo!
