Invesdor Revolutionises Investment Services with the First Pan-European Digital Investment Platform

Invesdor, the leading digital fundraising and investing platform in the Nordics, has kicked off its spring fever with an exciting strategic business merger and a revolutionary attempt to transform traditional fundraising business by their new platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering.

The First Pan-European Digital Investment Platform is Here

On March 20th, Invesdor and Austrian Finnest GmbH announced the proposed merger of their businesses. The merger with Finnest, a leading digital mid-size (“Mittelstand”) financier in the German-speaking countries, has allowed Invesdor Group to become the first pan-European digital investment and financing platform for companies of all life stages, from startups to large corporations.

The Invesdor Group holds a MiFID license passported to 28 European countries, which was granted to Invesdor in April 2015, making it the first such platform to receive this license. The Group has a base of over 50,000 registered private and institutional investors from 150 countries.

The merger will vastly increase our investment offerings by giving investors from the Nordics access to top-rated mid-size companies in the German-speaking markets. In the meantime, investors outside Scandinavia can also participate in the funding success of Nordic growth companies.

Innovative Platform (PaaS) to Join Companies and Investors all Around Europe

Also in the news, Invesdor has made innovative use of its financial technologies and licenses to roll out an advanced platform aiming to revolutionise traditional financial services. The Invesdor Platform can manage the issuance of securities, such as shares and bonds, matching of share subscriptions to money flows, and identifying parties of the transactions.

The Platform is expected to provide investors with seamless digital investing process, but can also be integrated into a financial services provider’s website, thus enabling the firm to ensure a smooth user experience on its website. Invesdor Platform service is an excellent fit for companies that organise financing, such as venture capital or private equity firms.

Good Financial Results from 2018

Invesdor continued its robust business growth in 2018, despite the weakening market sentiment in the second half. The turnover grew by more than 50%, and approximately €23 million was invested (2017: €19m). In 2018, 31 funding rounds, including 24 public offerings and seven private offerings, were successfully completed on Invesdor.

In 2019, Invesdor will seek to reach a growth rate similar to last year. The company plans to enhance fundraising and investing services to target companies and investors, strengthen its business position in Sweden, as well as grow the relative weighting of the Platform offering.
