During this workshop 10 European Robotics companies will have the possibility to present their project, be coached by professionals and get the chance to compete for the Entrepreneurship Award 2014. The schedule is the following :
Day 1 – 12th March: private sessions (only open to jury-coaches-participants)
2pm – 3:30pm : elevator pitch
4pm – 6:30pm : coaching session
Day 2 – 13 March: public sessions (open to general public)

The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is an inter-disciplinary gathering of startup champions from around the world-where entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, thought leaders and policymakers work together to help bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
The 2014 Congress takes place from March 17–20, 2014, in Moscow, Russia with core sessions taking place at the Moscow Manege and fringe events held throughout the city.

In March 2009, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation brought together the Global Entrepreneurship Week host organizations from nearly 60 nations to create the first ever Global Entrepreneurship Congress at its headquarters in the United States. Since then, the GEC has brought together some of the largest players in entrepreneurship and various celebrities including Carl Schramm, President and CEO of the Kauffman Foundation; Prime Minister H.E. Nika Gilauri of Georgia; Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York in Dubai in 2009; Wan Gang, the Chinese Minister of Science and Technology; Li Kaifu, Founder of Innovation Works and a number of prominent Chinese angel investors in China in 2011. 2012 saw the largest GEC, hosted in Liverpool. The guest of honor, Richard Branson, was joined by Sir Terry Leahy, former chief executive of Tesco; Martha Lane Fox, co-founder of lastminute.com and Lord Heseltine, Founder and Chairman, Haymarket.

The 10th INSME Annual Meeting on “Investing in Innovation: Building a Sustainable Knowledge-based Economy” will take place at Abu Dhabi from the 18th to the 20th of March, co-organized by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (INSME Vice-President).
The 10th INSME Annual Meeting & Forum is going to be a special event as it stands for the 10th Anniversary of the International Network for SMEs. Since 2004 the Network is promoting innovation, with the aim to facilitate dialogue and cooperation among public and private actors.
The Association is steadily growing, as of today it proudly counts on 100 members from 44 different countries, and it is continuously increasing its services portfolio with the aim to share with members and relevant stakeholders best practice approaches and foster SMEs’ access to knowledge at international level.
The 10th INSME Annual meeting will be a unique opportunity to network with relevant stakeholders, such as policy makers, financial actors, entrepreneurs, representatives from industries and universities, to share best practices in the field of innovation, to advance in the development of a sustainable knowledge-based economy and to discuss all relevant topics related with innovation. The International Conference, on the 19th of March, will be the occasion for members and international delegates to benefit from the expertise of high-level speakers, including representatives from OECD and Virgin Unite Mentors.
The International INSME – Khalifa Fund Training Workshop taking place on the 20th of March, after the Innovation Tour to Masdar City, will focus on “Sustainability, Innovation and Design”, “Commercialization of Research”, “Tricks and Tips on Creative Communication” and will feature innovation leaders from Google, Larta Institute and MSME News Network Malaysia. The International Training aims at stimulating the discussion among actors from different backgrounds to encourage cooperation and interaction to strengthen the ability to innovate and reinvent by suggesting new solutions.
The INSME Annual Meeting will be the opportunity to enhance and share knowledge and to build a sustainable economy based on innovation and creativity together.
