The EIB Institute is once again organising its Social Innovation Tournament – a Europe wide initiative supporting for social entrepreneurs. Submit your application by 1 March 2017
Your chance to win EUR 50 000 to take your Social Venture further!
The Social Innovation Tournament promotes the generation of innovative ideas and rewards initiatives that fight against social exclusion. It covers projects in a wide range of fields – from education, health care and job creation to new technologies, new systems and new processes.
Projects compete for two prizes in a General Category and two prizes in a Special Category: Ageing. Winning projects in each category are awarded a 1st and 2nd Prize of EUR 50 000 and EUR 20 000 respectively. Further awards include vouchers entitling a number of projects and their teams to benefit from subsequent coaching/mentoring services.
Individuals or teams from (or residing in) the European Union Member States, Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries or the EFTA countries may submit proposals to be implemented in one or more of these countries. The tournament is open to not-for-profit and for-profit organisations, young entrepreneurs and social enterprises, corporate responsibility departments of private sector companies of any size, NGOs, government or local government entities and university communities.
