Training for BAN/SF Managers

EBAN’s objective in the coming years is to build the asset class from 3 billion euros today to 10 billion euros, up from 1 billion euros 5 years ago. This objective will be achieved if the actors of the early stage sector operate in a professional manner and operate on a level playing field. The EBAN Institute is an opportunity to improve BAN and seed fund management skills and enhance performance including the quality of services for investors and entrepreneurs.

The EBAN Institute organises two types of training workshops for BAN and seed fund managers:

  • BASE is an introductory two day workshop outlining the theoretical and practical aspects for new BAN and seed fund managers

  • Advanced workshops focused on specific themes such as due diligence, IP management, M&A for start ups

What is BASE?

BASE – Business Angels Networks and Seed Funds Managers is a tailor-made training programme to answer the theoretical and practical aspects of the early stage financing profession. BASE is designed by professional managers and targeted for individuals currently involved or willing to be involved in early stage financing by managing a business angel network or fund. The training programme covers all of the key aspects of BAN and seed fund management by utilising case studies and identifying the best practices.
